I’ve noticed that many people here often comment that some of the content I share appears to be written by ChatGPT. I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify my approach and share my perspective on why Generative AI (GenAI) tools are essential and how I use them to provide value to my audience.
First and foremost, let’s acknowledge that tools like ChatGPT and other advanced AI technologies have become an integral part of our lives. Whether we like it or not, their adoption is inevitable. They’re transforming how we work, communicate, and create.
I’ve openly stated multiple times that I use GenAI tools such as DeepSeek, Gemini, and ChatGPT to enhance my work. Here’s a breakdown of my typical workflow:
Translation and Text Refinement: I use these tools to translate and improve texts from Arabic to English. I often ask them questions, particularly about C++, a field I specialize in.
Review and Testing: After the tools generate a response or translation, I:
Review the content carefully.
Correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Test the provided code using Visual Studio Code with Clang, G++, or MS Visual C++.
Publication Process:
Once finalized, I translate the content into English and ask the AI to improve the tone and presentation.
I format the text using a Markdown editor, export it as an HTML file, and publish it on my website.
I then link it to a post on my LinkedIn profile.
Books and Guides: For the books I prepare:
I convert the content into LaTeX format using Overleaf.
I finalize the book and publish it via LinkedIn as well.
I have never claimed to be the sole author of all my work, nor have I denied using GenAI tools for specific tasks such as translation, refinement, and information gathering. In fact, I frequently mention in my posts and replies to skeptics that I use these modern tools.
Every book or guide I share is labeled as: Prepared by Ayman Alheraki
This reflects my transparency in acknowledging that my work involves both human expertise and modern AI assistance.
I understand that some readers may think they’ve uncovered a hidden “ChatGPT style” in my writing. To those individuals, I want to emphasize:
Using GenAI is not a flaw. It’s a modern reality, and when used responsibly, it enables us to produce high-quality, useful content.
I review, refine, and validate all content before sharing it to ensure its accuracy and relevance.
As someone with a long career in programming—especially in C++—and now semi-retired, my primary goal is to share valuable content that helps others. The positive feedback and messages of gratitude I receive from readers motivate me to continue.
To those who criticize without considering the purpose behind my work, I respectfully ask that they make room for those who benefit from my efforts.
Generative AI is not something to fear or mock; it’s a tool that can be used to create impactful and beneficial content when applied appropriately. I’ve always been transparent about my use of these tools and will continue to be.
To everyone who has supported my efforts: thank you. To those with objections, I hope this article provides clarity.
With best regards, Ayman Alheraki
